Layer for text and graphics

Each object that you place in your document is successively stacked on the preceding object. Use the arrange commands to change the stacking order of objects in your document. You cannot change the stacking order of text.

Bring to Front

Moves the selected object to the top of the stacking order, so that it is in front of other objects.

Bring Forward

Moves the selected object up one level, so that it is closer to top of the stacking order.

Send Backward

Moves the selected object down one level, so that it is closer to the bottom of the stacking order.

Send to Back

Moves the selected object to the bottom of the stacking order, so that it is behind the other objects.

To Foreground

Moves the selected object in front of text.

To Background

Moves the selected object behind text.
